Bistro Zinc to Open in MonteLago Village

zinc.jpgRestaurateur Joseph Keller, brother of French Laundry’s famed chef Thomas Keller, will open Bistro Zinc in January 2006 in MonteLago Village at Lake Las Vegas. With views overlooking the lake, the restaurant will serve up a French-Cajun menu offering beignets, crepes, po-boys, gumbo, jambalaya and crawfish etouffee. In addition to the restaurant, Bistro Zinc will feature a small bakery where Village guests and residents can buy fresh breads and pastries, and a retail area selling cookbooks, kitchen tools and a special line of china created by Thomas Keller. Joseph Keller helped open his brother’s French bistro Bouchon in the Venetian, and he also owns and operates Como’s within MonteLago Village. Bistro Zinc will offer breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night menus from 6:30 a.m.-1 a.m., daily.
