Dining at Mirage Las Vegas

Ever since the resort opened, the restaurants at Mirage Las Vegas set the standard high for the entire city. There are fine dining options, casual restaurants, as well as bars and lounges to try. What ever you choose, you will be pleased. And check this out: some restaurants offer the $39.99 Prix Fixe Gourmet Tasting Menus.

Fine Dining

Japonais – Contemporary Japanese

japonais-restThe chain is one of the most adored and critically acclaimed restaurants in New York and Chicago. In Las Vegas, the chefs make Japonais one of the best restaurants at the Mirage and in the city. The average check is $60 and the dress code is casual. The minimum age requirement is 5.

It is open for dinner on Sunday, Monday & Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The lounge is also open daily during the same hours. The lounge features a resident DJ.

Two special offers are available: the Lucky 7 Lounge Happy Hour ($7 Menu and $7 Drinks) and Lounge Dinner for Two for $45 (each night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.).

STACK – American Bistro

The restaurant feels intimate and expensive, and the food is excellent featuring new American Bistro menu. The restaurant is open on Sunday, Tuesday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday, Friday & Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The bar is open an hour later each day. The minimum age requirement is 5. The attire is casual and the average check is $50.

Fin – Chinese

Most of the dishes served at Fin belong to the Chinese cuisine but there are also international dishes available. The restaurant is open for dinner daily, except on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The minimum age requirement is 5. The dress code is casual and the average check is $60.

Kokomo’s – Steak & Seafood

The dress code is casual and the average check is $65. The lounge is open 24 hours and offer beverages and light fare. The average check at the lounge is $35.

Onda’s Ristorante – Italian

It was voted “Best Italian Restaurant” by the Las Vegas Concierge Association and offers classic-rustic Italian cuisine with a splash of American innovations. The restaurant is open daily (except on Tuesday and Wednesday) from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Onda Wine & Cheese Lounge is also open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on a daily basis. The minimum age requirement is 5. The dress code is casual and the average check is $45.

It offers a complimentary wine tasting every Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. And those who love seafood would love the all you can eat mussels special, from Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for $20 per person.

Samba Steakhouse – Brazilian-style barbecue

It is a very popular restaurant featuring Brazilian-style barbecue. Guests can choose among marinated meats, poultry and seafood and a la carte menu. It is open daily from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and the minimum age requirement is 5. The dress code is casual and the average check is $40.00.

Casual Dining

BLT Burger – American

blt-burger-restIt’s the traditional American burger joint where guests can enjoy milkshakes, American Kobe, lamb and turkey burgers, as well as cheese, bacon, avocado, and homemade chili. There are also over 20 beers to choose from and a lot of interesting cocktails. It is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. and over the weekend from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m. The dress code is casual and the average check is $20.

B.B. King’s Blues Club – BBQ

It offers delicious southern comfort food with a splash of international influences. It is a club-style restaurant, where live music is played in four full-service bars in three different areas. Live Music is performed nightly from 7:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.

The restaurant is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. The dress code is casual and the average check is $35.

California Pizza Kitchen – Pizza/Italian

It is the birthplace of BBQ Chicken Pizza is famous for hearth-baked pizzas topped with unique taste combinations. If you are looking for something special try the Thai Chicken. The restaurant also offers pastas and salads.

The restaurant is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to midnight and over the weekend until 2 a.m. The dress code is casual and the average check is $30.00. It is located near the Race & Sports Book.

Cravings – Buffet, Ethnic Foods

cravings-restIt offers the ultimate buffet experience, featuring foods from all over the world. It is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and during weekends for brunch (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The breakfast menu price is $ $13.95 (adults), lunch costs $17.95 (dinner) and dinner $24.95 (adults). The brunch price is $18.95 (adults). Reduces rates are available for children (age 5 to 10). The dress code is casual.

Carnegie Delicatessen – Sandwiches

It offers the real New York deli experience where guests can enjoy sandwiches and matzoh ball soup. It is open 24 hours and the average check is $20-$25.

Paradise Café – Exotic Drinks and light fare

It is located by the pool and offers continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and exotic drinks. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The dress code is casual and the average check is $40. Access to the café is limited to the Mirage guests.

The Roasted Bean – Coffee and pastries

It features coffee specialties and freshly baked French pastries, as well as sandwiches. It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. You’ll find it at the entrance of the Convention Area. The dress code is casual and the average check is $12.

Dolphin Snack Bar – Snacks

It is a seasonal restaurant and offers ice cream, hot dogs, snacks and drinks. You’ll find it inside Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. The dress code is casual and the average check is $20.

Other bars & lounges

The Beatles Revolution lounge

beatles-revolutionIt opened in 2006, only six months after Cirque du Soleil’s The Beatles Love, opened at the Mirage. It is the perfect place to enjoy great music and excellent drinks. It is open Wednesday to Monday, closed on Tuesday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Each night DJs offer exclusively Beatles music.

Rhumbar

It offers innovative cocktails on an outdoor patio. The views of the Strip are amazing and go well with the excellent drink choices. The bar is open from Sunday to Wednesday from noon to 1 a.m. and from Thursday to Saturday until 2 a.m.

Bare

It is the pool bar by the adult pool at the Mirage. It is closed during the winter. Bare features ultra VIP service and excellent DJs. Private Daybeds and Cabanas are available for the guests and the menu offers sumptuous specialty food items. There’s also a cocktail service available. Guests must be at least 21 years old.

Admission starts at $10 for women, $20 for men; daybeds start at $250 F&B min and the cabanas at $550 F&B min.

High Limit Lounge

It is open 24 hours and offers bar drinks and light fare. The average check is $40.

The Sports Bar

It is open 24 hours and offers beverages and light fare. The dress code is casual and the average check is $40. It overlooks the Sports & Race Book.
