Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort

skivegas.jpgAdult lift tickets for a full day at the Las Vegas Ski & Snowboard Resort cost $35 and prices go down from there for half and full day tickets for children and seniors. The resort is located less than an hour from Las Vegas, a perfect change of pace for outdoor enthusiasts who wish to get away from the Strip. The mountain has 11 trails, and a host of amenities to keep skiers happy all day long. To celebrate the start of the 2006 Winter Olympics, the resort will host an inaugural US Ski Team Day on February 11th, 2006. One dollar from every lift ticket will be donated directly to help alpine, moguls, aerials and cross country competitors like Daron Rahlves, Julia Mancuso, Bode Miller and Jeremy Bloom.

Directions: Take U.S. 95 north approx. 30 miles to Hwy 156, Lee Canyon. Follow 17 miles to the resort.
