Las Vegas BikeFest 2007 Rolls Into Town This Weekend

Las Vegas BikeFest 2007Get your motor runnin’…it’s time for the annual Las Vegas BikeFest.

Yes, this weekend, expect the rumble of more than 30,000 motorcycles to hit the downtown and Strip areas as biker lifestyle enthusiasts gather together for parties, competitions and some good ol’ fashioned shopping for the latest gear and accessories.

The event starts on Thursday, September 27th, with pre-registration and the opening of the Vendor Village shopping area. Friday and Saturday (28th and 29th) are the big days, with poker runs, a poker walk, a “Master Builders” championship and autograph session, Mr. and Miss BikeFest competitions and more. Sunday, September 30th, the event closes with the 3rd Annual Las Vegas Ride for Kids, which raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and a BBQ at Hogs & Heifers.

The LV BikeFest will mostly take place at the Cashman Center downtown (850 N. Las Vegas Blvd), with some events happening at the Golden Nugget Hotel, the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson Store (2605 S. Eastern) and the aforementioned Hogs & Heifers Saloon (201 N. Third St.).

Passes start at $25 for the Party Pass, which gains you admission into the Vendor Village, the Welcome Party and a few event gifts. The Friday Fun Pass is $40, which covers the Party Pass items, plus the Poker Walk and Run for the day. Saturday’s Fun Pass gains the user the same admissions as the Friday Fun Pass, but costs $45. And for those who want to do it all, the Ultimate Pass, good for the whole event, is $65.
