Las Vegas Contemporary Arts Collective

One of the non-profits leading the effort to provide a place for artists in the area to display and practice their craft is The Contemporary Arts Collective. Founded in 1989 by UNLV art department students, the organization continues to “…build, educate, and sustain audiences for contemporary art” in Las Vegas. Located in the Holsum Bread Building & Lofts, the gateway to the Arts District, the collective has over 700 members consisting of artists, patrons & community partners, and hosts weekly Life Drawing workshops every Tuesday evening and a variety of on-going workshops. Gallery hours are Tue. – Fri. 11AM-6PM & Sat. 11AM-5PM. The current mixed media installation titled “Human Inhumanity” will run through February.
