Alan Parsons Project Live at Boulder Station

alanparsons.jpgAlan Parsons set the tone for progressive rock in the 70s and 80s. Not only did he release several successful albums, such as I Robot, Pyramid and Eye In the Sky (which yielded a Top 5 single of the same name), but he also helped engineer the classic Pink Floyd album, Dark Side of the Moon.

Last year, Parsons released a new cd, A Valid Path, which saw him venturing into the world of contemporary electronica with the help of artists like The Crystal Method and Uberzone, and an appearance by Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour on guitars. This month, the cd is being re-released in dualdisc format with a dvd of the making of this cd.

Parsons will be showcasing his new work alongside his classic catalog of hits when his band appears at Boulder Station on April 21.
