AutoRox Awards To Film On Fremont Street

Like cars? So does rapper/actor Ice Cube. And that is a major reason why he accepted the invitation to host SpikeTV’s “2006 AutoRox Awards“. The show will film around the legendary Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas on April 7, and will honor the best in a number of categories, including “Car of the Year” and “Hottest Exotic”.

During the show, Ice Cube will debut two new songs, “Chrome and Paint” and “Why We Thugs”. The songs will appear on his upcoming cd, Laugh Now, Cry Later, due in stores on June 6. Oscar-winning rap group Three Six Mafia will also perform.

In addition to Ice Cube, the show will feature appearances by Pamela Anderson, wrestler Bill Goldberg, Bow Wow, Nick Cannon, Leeann Tweeden (“Best Damn Sports Show”) and Courtney Hansen (“Overhaulin”).
