Chicago at The MGM Grand

Chicago

It was in 1967 that the nucleus of the legendary rock group Chicago was formed. Naming themselves after the city they lived in, the band was among the first to infuse rock music with a jazz horn section. It was a risky idea, but almost forty years later, Chicago has sold over 120 million copies of their albums — twelve of which have gone top ten on the charts. Among their over twenty hit singles are 70s classics like “25 or 6 To 4,” “Saturday In the Park” and “If You Leave Me Now.” They also ventured onto the charts in the 80s with songs like “Stay the Night,” “Along Comes a Woman” and “Hard Habit To Break.”

Not content to rest on their laurels, Chicago continues to release new music, most recently their 30th album, Chicago XXX. The group will be taking the stage for a return engagement at the MGM Grand starting on May 18.
