Guitarist Slash Kicks Off Bottle Rock It Concert Series

Starting this Saturday, July 5th, Red Rock Resort, in conjunction with SpyOnVegas.com, kicks off a weekly summer concert series that will offer a wine-tasting charity option.

Called “Bottle Rock It,” the event will feature some of the hottest musicians playing poolside for $20-$30 a ticket. For an additional $15, guests can enjoy an organic wine tasting section with the proceeds going to benefit the Las Vegas Springs Preserve.

This Saturday, legendary rocker Slash (Guns’n’Roses, Velvet Revolver) and his Blues Ball Band will headline the first concert. Joining him onstage will be Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell, drummer Jason Bonham (who currently performs in Led Zeppelin in place of his father), and Royston Langdon, formerly of Spacehog. This show will set you back $30, but will be totally worth it.

“Bottle Rock It was designed for our guests to enjoy the hot summer nights poolside Saturdays at Red Rock Resort,” said Kyle Markman, nightlife manager at Station Casinos. “We thought that combining great music, amazing cocktails and poolside fun is the way Saturday night should be in Vegas, and don’t forget to bring your bathing suit.”

For those looking ahead, Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell will rock the pool on July 12th. Tickets will be $20 at the door.

First the bad news – you must be 21 or older to attend all “Bottle Rock It” shows. The good news is that since SpyOnVegas.com is one of the sponsors, you can grab yourself a free ticket, while they last, at spyonvegas.com/bottlerockit.

All shows kick off at 7pm and run until 10pm. For more information, visit Red Rock Resort online.
