Hank Williams III At House of Blues

Hank Williams III At House of BluesThere’s no denying that Hank Williams III was born into country royalty. He is the son of honkytonk bad boy Hank Williams, Jr. and shares both a facial and vocal resemblance to his grandfather, country legend Hank Williams.

But while Hank III is at home with a good honkytonk riff, he’s more likely to be cranking hardcore punk (think Black Flag & Antiseen) or death metal.

It’s these latter sounds that will be driving Hank III’s show at the House of Blues on May 30. Opening will be the Murder Junkies, best known as being the original backing band for shock rocker G.G. Allin. Though the House of Blues  website says this is an all-ages show, parents may want to exercise discretion with the younger punk fans at home.
