Lou Gramm and Foghat at the Cannery Casino

Lou GrammAs lead vocalist of Foreigner, Lou Gramm emerged as one of the distinctive voices of 70s and 80s rock. With the band, he had nearly 20 hit singles, including “Double Vision,” “Feels Like the First Time,” “Urgent” and “Cold As Ice.” On his own, he’s also acheived chart bliss with songs like “Midnight Blue” and “Lost In the Shadows” (from the Lost Boys soundtrack). All totaled, Gramm has over a dozen gold and platinum albums to his credit. It’s a good thing this former drummer decided to step out front and sing.

Foghat also ruled rock radio in the late 70s with their brand of British blues-rock. Over the course of 8 platinum and gold albums, the band hit the charts with radio staples such as “Fool For the City” and “I Just Wanna Make Love to You.” Their biggest chart hit, “Slow Ride,” is considered the band’s trademark song.

The two acts will take the stage at the Cannery Casino on April 8 for a night of classic rock hits.
