Smiths Tribute Weekend at Beauty Bar

It’s time to drag out the black as the Beauty Bar presents a DUI “Smiths Tribute Weekend” — and just to clarify, DUI stands for “Dance Under the Influence.” DJs Johnny Rox, Allen and Jared Nichols will be hosting the events both nights.

April 14 finds live performances by the Drugs, the Mighty Six Ninety and the Weather Underground added to the mix, plus an appearance by Andy Rourke of the Smiths.

The next night, the festivities continue with performances by Buddy Akai, the Mojo Filters and the Tender Box and special guest DJ Dia will join in on the turntables.
