Monte Carlo Opens Brand During Memorial Weekend

Monte Carlo Las Vegas Opens Brand Steakhouse and Lounge During Memorial Weekend

In recent months, there have been a proliferation of steak houses opening in Vegas. Get ready to add one more to the mix when Brand debuts at the Monte Carlo on May 24th, during the upcoming Memorial Day weekend.

Centrally located in the heart of the resort’s casino floor, Brand features a 5,000-sq-ft 250-seat dining room designed in earthy colors with a dramatically lit ceiling canopy that creates a pixilated abstract cow-print pattern. The walls surrounding the restaurant are partially made of glass to allow diners to enjoy the excitement of the casino, while still being enclosed inside.

Signature dishes like oversized bone-in (dry-aged) and bone-out (wet-aged) Nebraska steaks, large chops cooked to order in a wood-burning grill and The Ultimate Steak — a mammoth 8.6-pound beef porterhouse for six with two house-made sauces and two sides — are highlights of Brand’s menu. Among those house-made sauces are unique flavor combinations such as brandy & green peppercorn, whole grain mustard and a shallot-red wine bordelaise. Definitely a step up from the traditional steak sauce.

Seafood fans won’t be left out either, with a variety of fresh fish, oyster, clam, crab, shrimp and lobster options.

Salads, appetizers and a la carte sides, such as lobster & double-roasted garlic mashed potatoes, crispy corn pancakes with sautéed bacon and creamy pudding, and a blooming caramelized onion, round out the main menu items.

For those who enjoy liquid libations, Brand will feature an extensive list of wines, bourbons and specialty cocktails to complement each item on the menu. A select variety of more than 200 red wines chosen from areas spanning the California wine country, to the Bordeaux region of France all the way to the Super Tuscans of Italy will highlight the wine list.

In addition to the restaurant, Brand will offer a nightlife element in the form of an attached intimate lounge area that features plush low-level couch-style seating, five elevated plasma TV screens and a DJ booth.

Brand Steakhouse will be open seven days a week from 5pm until midnight. The lounge will be open seven days a week from 5pm until 3am. For dinner reservations, please call 702.730.6700 or visit lightgroup.com.
