Restaurant Week Brings Great Dining Deals to Vegas

Restaurant Week Brings Great Dining Deals to Vegas

Most days, restaurants around Vegas are busy competing against each other for customers and dining dollars. But starting this Sunday, September 2, almost fifty of the city’s top restaurants will band together for the first ever Las Vegas Restaurant Week.

For $50.07, you can enjoy a special menu put together by each restaurant, and a portion of the proceeds will go directly to help the charity Three Square, a non-profit organization created to end hunger within the city by serving an average of 3,000 meals a week to the elderly and those in need.

Strip restaurants that are participating include Aquaknox at the Venetian, Social House at TI, L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace and Todd English’s Olives at the Bellagio.

Off-Strip, restaurants participating include Sonoma Celler Steakhouse at Sunset Station, Hanks at Green Valley Ranch, Tbones Chophouse at Red Rock and Simon Kitchen at the Hard Rock.

Some are even using the occasion to put together special events above and beyond the charity menus.

Tom Colicchio (“Top Chef”) is holding a wine pairing dinner on September 4th at his Craftsteak restaurant at MGM Grand. Ticket price is $500, with 20% going to Three Square, and includes a 3-course Kobe Platinum beef menu, wine pairings and an autographed cookbook.

The next day celebrity chef Michael Mina will host a cookbook tasting dinner at his restaurant, Nob Hill at MGM Grand. Tickets are $185 for the meal, with an additional $65 for wine pairings. Also on September 5th, Shibuya at MGM Grand will host a premium sake tasting for $15.

Restaurant Week runs September 2nd through 8th in Las Vegas. For more information, such as menus and a complete list of participating restaurants, please visit threesquare.org.
