Vegas Dining News: Chinois to Close?; Omelet House Opens Downtown; Plaza Opens Buffet

Word comes via The Las Vegas Advisor that Chinois at The Forum Shops at Caesars is closing its doors, possibly as early as this week. They say their sources confirm this is indeed happening, but my phone calls haven’t been returned yet. However, LVA is usually pretty spot on with these things. More word as I get it.

Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s other eatery at The Forum Shops, plus his other restaurants around town also appear to be unaffected. Puck will be opening a new eatery at CityCenter later this year, as well

omelethouselogo1The Omelet House, an off-Strip staple for many locals and visitors-in-the-know, has opened a third location downtown at The Plaza on Fremont.

It’s open daily from 7am to 4pm and serves up everything from pancakes to hamburgers…and, of course, over 30 varieties of its namesake dish.

The award-winning eatery has been in business for 30 years and has two other locations at 2160 West Charleston and 316 North Boulder Highway in Henderson.
