Elite Traveler Ranks Three Vegas Suites Among World’s Most Luxurious

Elite Traveler magazine caters to the luxury travel market and in the July/August issue, they feature their picks for the 101 most luxurious hotel suites in the world. Using a long list of criteria, such as privacy, location, amentities and one-of-a-kind designs, the magazine’s editors, along with a celebrity panel, narrowed down the choices and three Vegas suites made the final cut.

Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms

The Palms had two suites on the list. The first is the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa, which the panel said was chosen because it’s the “world’s greatest bachelor pad.” Among the amenities that wowed the judges were plasma TVs in every room, an in-room poker table and the infinity lap pool that actually projects out from the balcony, for the most amazing view of Vegas you’ll ever see in your swimsuit. Or sans suit, since this is Vegas, afterall. The $40,000 a night tab also landed the suite on the magazine’s most expensive list.

Absolut Suite at Caesars Palace The Palm’s Hardwood Suite also made the list, mostly for the unique amenity of being the only suite with a basketball court in it. Granted it’s only a half-court, but celebs such as George Clooney love being able to play a game with friends before heading out for the night, and they certainly don’t blink at the $25,000 or more per night rate.

The third Vegas suite is the Absolut Suite at Caesars Palace. Inspired by the many flavors of Absolut Vodka, the $3,500 a night suite was chosen for its vibrant colors, private dance floor, great Strip view and a bedroom designed to mimic a swimming pool (bet that’s fun when you’re drunk!).
