Lady Luck to Close February 12

Luck has run out for the third largest casino in downtown Las Vegas. The Lady Luck will close for a year-long renovation that requires the permanent lay-off of almost 700 employees. Several restaurants and clubs along Third Street, including Triple George Grill, Hogs & Heifers Saloon, Sidebar and Celebrity, have been spared and will remain open, as will the nearby parking garage. Details of the remodeling plans will not be announced for several months.
