Lucky Strike Hosts Big Lebowski Night

Lucky Strike Hosts Big Lebowski Night in VegasOne movie that showed how cool bowling could be was 1998’s “Big Lebowski.” In it, Jeff Bridges starred as “The Dude,” a man who enlists the help of his bowling buddies to straighten out a case of mistaken identity and retribution against some mobsters.

This Thursday, April 12, Lucky Strike Lanes is paying homage to the film with a “Big Lebowski Night” promotion. The special featured drink of the evening will be The Dude’s favorite drink, White Russians. But you’ll want to get there early as there will also be an open bar from 6pm-9pm courtesy of Starbucks Liqueur, Absolut Vodka and Pyramid.

I’m also told the film will be playing on the many plasma TVs throughout the venue as you bowl. How cool does that sound?

Lucky Strike Lanes is the new bowling alley/nightclub opened at The Rio by Pure Management, the group behind Strip staples such as Pure Nightclub and Tangerine. In less than a month, it’s turned into quite a celebrity magnet, so who knows who you’ll see enjoying the bowling and drinks with you.
