Infamous Playboy Party to Descend Upon The Palms

A Midsummer Night's Dream to Descend Upon The Palms Las VegasThe Palms Pool & Bungalows is normally a hot spot on the weekends. But this Saturday, August 18th, the bar will be raised even higher when A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes over.

For the first time ever, the Playboy Mansion’s annual summer party will be held twice in a year, and the Palms has been chosen as the first venue to host the party outside the mansion’s gates in Los Angeles. But the Playboy Club inside the resort was deemed too small, so the action is being brought to the pool area.

The Vegas version of the hedonistic A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be a masquerade/lingerie bacchanalia that will surely rival any event that has taken place at the Playboy Mansion. A surprise musical guest will provide the tunes, along with DJs, while guests drink from a complimentary hosted bar.

For the event, the pool area will be transformed into a fantasy wonderland with laser graphic art, specially-designed water, fire, earth and air elements, a designated area for “Warth” (a Vulcan love ritual), as well as a floating sacrificial altar and mermaids swimming throughout the pool. Performance artists, like jesters, fairies, magicians, minotaurs and body contortionists will also stroll through the party, lending to the atmosphere.

Tickets for the event are $200, a bit more than the normal Vegas club night, but not only are you ensured a night you’ll never forget, but you’ll be a part of Playboy history.

To purchase, visit WantTickets.com, Vegas.com or Nightclubs.com (though expect to add on between $35 and $50 for service fees). For cabana reservations call the N9NE Group at 702.942.6832. Guests must be 21 or over and must also wear a costume or a mask.
