Things to do at Monte Carlo Resort & Casino

fitness-centerMonte Carlo Resort & Casino is large and offers a variety of things to do for the guests. The spa, the salon, the pool and fitness room are excellent places to relax, while shopping offers the possibly to spend some time checking out the newest merchandise. Those who prefer being active, can play golf.

The Spa & Fitness Center

It is the excellent place to spend some time pampering your body, whether you look for stress releasing massages or want to feel rejuvenated. The treatments offered by the spa range from 25 min treatment (refreshed and radiant) which costs $80 to an 80 min hydro treatment which costs $180. The 50 min body wraps range cost $150 and the massages range from $70 (stress release) to $200 (deep tissue massage).

Hotel guests pay $22 per day to use the spa (non hotel guests $25) and there is a 3-day pass available as well ($49). It includes full gym usage, use of steam rooms and sauna, lockers, towels, complimentary fruit juices and many more.

The gym use only costs $19 per day for the hotel guests (non hotel guests $24) and there is a 3-day pass available ($39). Personal trainers are available upon request.

The Salon

The Salon offers professional services, such as manicure, make-up, waxing, hair styling and pedicure. A simple manicure costs $40, while brows shaping starts at $20. A haircut starts at $55.

The Pool

Monte Carlo Resort offers a Wave Pool and a Lazy River. There are a total of four pools within the resort. Cabana services and pool side food services are available during the season (which reopens in March 2010).

The cabanas are located near the pools and offer luxury services. Each of them features lounge chairs, flat screen TVs, and your very own attendant.

Shopping

Regardless of what you are looking for, the Street of Dreams Retail Outlets and other shops within the resort offer everything you might want: authentic music memorabilia, Harley-Davidson merchandise, women stylish fashions, gaming merchandise, unique magic tricks kits and many more.

And when you need to take a break to refuel, there are some good choices. You can try the classic cocktails at The Big Chill, the tasty cupcake treats at The Cupcakery or refuel with coffee at Starbucks Coffee.

Golf

The guests can choose among three near-by courses: Bali Hai, Desert Pines Golf Club, and Royal Links Golf Club. Rates vary according to the golf club and time of the day. Bali Hai Golf Club is located right on the Strip, while Royal Links Golf Club is located less than a mile from Bellagio. Desert Pines is also close, just 15 min from the Strip.
