Things to do at Vdara Las Vegas

vdara_pool_loungeVdara is not like anything else you can find on the Las Vegas Strip; it is a luxury resort. Therefore, instead of loads of shows and too many bars and lounges, you’ll find a spa, a lovely pool and some great high-end shopping.

In a very modern design, overlooking the Strip and with excellent views of the CityCenter, you’ll find the pool & lounge. DJs spin excellent music and the spa cabanas and the plunge pools offer the intimacy you need. Complete the atmosphere with cocktails, appetizers and gourmet tapas to offer a complete Vdara experience.

Spa – Vdara Health & Beauty

It is actually a 18,000 square-foot, two-level spa, salon and fitness center, located at the levels 2 and 3 of the hotel. It features luxurious men’s and women’s locker rooms, each with sauna, eucalyptus steam room and hot plunges. And there’s a Champagne Bar as well.

Guests can choose among the many massages, body treatments and skin care services, while the salon offers professional hair design, luxurious spa manicures and pedicures as well as makeup. At the fitness center you can burn calories trying out the cardio equipment, exercise machines and free weights. A nutritionist and a dietician are also available to give you tips on healthy eating.

The spa and fitness area are open each day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the salon hours are from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Advance booking is recommended.

Crystals

crystalsLocated adjacent to Vdara, Crystals is CityCenter’s retail dining and entertainment district. It features exclusive shops from some of the top brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & CO and Ermenegildo Zegna among others. Don’t worry, you won’t go hungry here. There are six restaurants to choose from, featuring cuisines ranging from Spanish, to French, American, steak and seafood. Prices range from moderate to high.

It is open daily from 10 a.m. until midnight. It has five entrances, including a sky bridge leading to Mandarin Oriental. There’s also a tram connecting the mall to the near-by Bellagio and Monte Carlo . The tram station is at the 3rd floor. And if you stay at the MGM Grand you can a shuttle to get here.
