LVCVB Tries New Psychic Ad Promotion to Lure Visitors

Vegas Visionary advertisingThe Las Vegas CVB has started a new ad campaign that started running on television last week. Riffing off one of my favorite recent ad campaigns featuring the girlfriend who tries to have a fortune teller read her boyfriend’s mind, the new ad offers up “Vic Wonder: Vegas Visionary.”

Visitors to VegasVisionary.com are greeted by Vic who first asks your name and then offers to tell you your fortune. I’ve tried it several times and gotten a different answer each time, some more accurate to the question than others.

But what irritated me about the website is it seems to suffer from bandwidth clog. Quite often either the video or audio would go out of sync or even skip, which made it hard to enjoy the site. And while it does have a decent sense of humor, it’s not a site that I’d visit more than once.

Try it out for yourself and let us know what you think of the new promotion in the comments.
