Chris Isaak Takes Over the House of Blues

In 1989, Chris Isaak crooned his way to the top of the music charts and into the hearts of music lovers everywhere with his first hit single, “Wicked Game.” I’m sure the ultra-steamy video for the song didn’t hurt either. He went on to have hits with songs like “Baby Did A Bad, Bad Thing” and “Somebody’s Crying” that fused his rockabilly roots with a touch of the blues.

He’s also stretched his creative wings into acting, with roles in Wild at Heart, The Silence of the Lambs, and A Dirty Shame, as well as starring in his own situation comedy series for the Showtime cable network.

Isaak rolls his musical self into the House of Blues on July 8 to celebrate his greatest hits and then some. Opening is San Francisco-born singer/songwriter Essence.
