Las Vegas Celebrates the 4th of July With Red White & BoomThe Las Vegas parks system is holding their annual Red White & Boom festival for the 4th of July, but this year have expanded it to two days. During the event, you can jam to some great music, indulge in a variety of food and drink and the whole family can enjoy the full carnival, complete with a giant ferris wheel.

The festivities start on July 3 with performances by Fletch, Saving Jane, Seether, Hawthorne Heights, Flogging Molly and Social Distortion. July 4, Away Station, Jacks Mannequin, Colin Hay (Men at Work), Ne-Yo, Blue October and Train will all take to the stage. There will also be a VIP tent area with Blacked Eyed Peas DJ Motiv8 and R1ck-One of the BEP family spining the tunes between bands.

Prior to Train’s performance on the 4th, the city will set off a gigantic 20-minute fireworks display to light up the sky.

Tickets are available at Ticketmaster outlets for $17.50 per day or $30 for both days (plus service fees). VIP tickets are also available for $75 per day, which includes admission, special seating and parking (first-come, first-served), an air-conditioned area, free food and discounted alcoholic beverages.
