Las Vegas Monorail Offers Special Deals for Summer

Las Vegas Monorail Offers Special Deals for SummerThe Las Vegas Monorail offers an easy and economical way to travel between the resorts and casinos on the Strip. Now, for the summer months, they’re sweetening the deal with an extra discount.

From now until Labor Day, single-day unlimited ride passes will be only $8 per person. This represents more than 45% off the normal price of $15. And considering a “two-ride” pass is $9, this new discount will enable riders of the monorail to really maximize their transportation dollars while they travel the entire route.

Not to mention you’ll be riding in air conditioning while outside day temps soar into the 100s. That there is enough to convince me.

Currently, the monorail traverses between the MGM Grand in the south and the Sahara on the north end. Along the way, it stops at Bally’s/Paris, the Flamingo, Harrah’s/Imperial Palace, the Las Vegas Convention Center and the Las Vegas Hilton. Hours of operation are 7am until 2am every day except for Fridays and Saturdays when it runs until 3am.

Plans are currently in the works to expand the route to McCarran Airport, which in my opinion should have been done in the first place. It would do wonders for increasing riders on the monorail if people could take it from the airport directly to the Strip.

But for the summer months, if you want to take advantage of this great deal for travel on the Strip, visit www.lvmonorail.com to purchase your one-day unlimited ride pass.
