Real World Las Vegas Cast Returns To The Palms

Real World Las Vegas Cast Returns To The PalmsFive years ago, The Palms took a chance and agreed to serve as the home base for the Las Vegas edition of MTV’s hit reality series Real World. Seven young people showed up and were filmed 24/7 as they lived together in a specially designed suite and worked jobs at the hotel’s nightclub, Rain.

Since then, not only has The Palms become iconic with the MTV generation, but the show’s success encouraged other reality shows to film in Las Vegas.

This weekend, the Las Vegas cast is reuniting to live together in that same suite for a six-episode special edition of the show titled, “Reunited: The Real World Vegas.” The seven original castmembers – Trishelle, Steven, Brynn, Irulan, Frank, Alton and Arissa – will once again live in a temporary fishbowl as they are filmed for the show at The Palms.
“We are extremely excited about the opportunity to host “Reunited: The Real World Vegas,” said George Maloof, owner of The Palms. “The original show had such an impact on Las Vegas and was responsible for the massive interest in filming reality shows in Las Vegas since 2002.”

The first event to be filmed for the show will be a party this Saturday, April 14, at The Palm’s Moon Nightclub, which will be hosted by castmember Trishelle Cannatella.

MTV says the reunion episodes will air later this Spring.

And if you’ve thought of getting on the show yourself, a “Real World 20” casting call will be held at Rain on Tuesday, April 17th, from 10am to 5pm. You must be 18 or older with ID to get an audition slot. Hard to believe the show has had twenty seasons already, but there you go.
