- Steven Zegrean, the New York-New York shooting suspect, was arraigned in court today. Bail was set at more than $4.6 million for the 51-year old Vegas resident, who police say staked out the casino, waiting for all children to leave before entering and opening fire. He reportedly did so in a suicide attempt to get police to shoot him. The judge set a preliminary hearing for July 24th at 9:30 am and Zegrean faces multiple charges including burglary while in possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed firearm, attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon, battery with the use of a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm into a structure.
- The semi-finals of the hit NBC show “America’s Got Talent” air tonight and they take place at Planet Hollywood. Beacher’s Madhouse favorite Leonid the Magnificent is still in the running, much to the chagrin of show judge David Hasselhoff.
