Getting Married in Las Vegas

More than 100,000 people get married in Las Vegas every year. What’s the draw? No blood tests and no waiting periods! And it’s cheap, cheap, cheap! Just buy your marriage license ($60 payable by cash, cashier’s check or money order, or $65 payable by credit card), and have someone perform the ceremony within the year.

Divorcees getting married must make sure that their divorces are final and know the date of the final decree as well as city and state where it was granted.

Las Vegas Travel Tip:
Getting married on holidays such as Valentine’s Day or New Year’s may not be as romantic as you might hope. These are extremely popular, high-traffic dates for weddings in Las Vegas. This means higher prices for flights and hotels as well as long lines at the chapel. Book a year in advance if you insist.
