Ra Sushi

Located in the Fashion Show Mall directly across the street from Wynn Las Vegas, Ra Sushi is a study in the new Vegas. With no all-you-can-eat specials and no buffets, this restaurant is all about the vibe. Once inside, you could easily be in any trendy sushi spot in New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco. That’s not to say that Ra doesn’t have good food, in fact, they do. If I had to rate Ra Sushi on a scale from 1 to 10, I would say the food is a 7, the service an 8 and the atmosphere (if you like the modern, hip vibe) an 8. A patio adds to the appeal, provided it’s cool enough to eat outside. While not cheap, Ra Sushi does have happy hour specials that can ease the crunch on the wallet. Sake enthusiasts will enjoy the selection of hot and cold sake. And any Sin City fan will want to try the Viva Las Vegas roll, which is a meal unto itself with crab, cream cheese, lotus root, seaweed and eel sauce.

Overall, if you want the feeling that you are up with the in crowd and don’t mind going to a mall for dinner, consider Ra Sushi.
