1951: Vegas Vic

Vic was the first of three neon cowboys that was went up in 1951. It cost $25,000 and was the most famous sign Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO) ever created. It still stands tall (about 40 feet) on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. The sign stands above the entrance to the now defunct Pioneer Club.
